Lost pets

Lost a pet? Seen one?

Report a lost dog or cat with a photo and where it was last seen. Members who spot it send a sighting, and the owner sees every one in the app.

The rules, up front

They protect the people reporting and the people helping.

Free

Reporting a lost pet and sending a sighting cost nothing.

Coarse area only

A report shows an area such as Beirut and the place last seen, never your address. Your home is not stored.

Names are shortened

Other members see a first name and an initial, such as “Rana K.”. No contact details are shown.

Exact spots stay private

A sighting’s position is rounded, and only the owner sees it.

How lost pets works

Three steps, no fees.

  1. Report

In the app, pick your pet, add a photo, when and where it was last seen, and how to approach it. You can have up to three open reports.

  2. Members send sightings

Anyone who sees the pet sends an area, a time, a note and an optional photo. Each sighting appears in your app.

  3. Mark as found

When your pet is home, mark the report as found. Everyone who sent a sighting is told.

Help safely.

A sighting is a member’s report and is not confirmed. Do not chase a frightened pet, and meet people in a public place.
